Worldwide, all-cause mortality has declined, and this decline is expected to continue. This positive trend is attributable to improvements in a wide range of health determinants, such as healthcare access and quality of care, technological advancements, reductions in poverty, access to water and sanitation, labor rights, and, crucially, access to education.
